A huge day as we’re heading closer to the coast.
A long hard climbing day followed by lots of up and downs. This day will leave us exhausted, but feeling like we’re broken the back of the challenge.

Another real tough day of riding through Noggabri, Carroll, Somerton, Bective, Tamworth, Nemingha, Moonbi and Bendemeer into Uralla.
A big sharp climb after the 100km mark will let us know there is still some riding ahead.

Brendon has done the ride before and remembers it as a day of “Hell on wheels”.
Exposed rolling roads provide no respite from the sun and it’s one hard ride reading through Casino into Kyogle.

A couple of hard hills get the heart started out of Kyogle and into the ranges.
From the Sphinx Cafe it’s a brilliant downhill run to Murwillumbah then over to Tumbulgum.
The last climb is up Terranora Road and then it’s down into the Tweed for the roll through the southern Gold Coast headed for Surfers Paradise.
